Celine brings rock music element into Hollywood fashion show

Celine showcased a new fashion line in the Hollywood limelight, captivating a star-studded audience at The Wiltern theatre during designer Hedi Slimane’s “Age of Indieness” show on Thursday night. The iconic Los Angeles landmark witnessed the debut of glamorous black and gold gowns, faux fur coats, sleek leather pants, and stylish gold-button jackets and coats. Models strutted down the runway to the rock-infused beats of The White Stripes’ “Hello Operator,” showcasing the latest collection from the fashion house.

The co-ed runway attracted attention from celebrities such as Cindy Crawford, Doja Cat, Brie Larson, Justin Hoffman, Paris Hilton, Kid Cudi, Paris Jackson, Ava Phillippe, Wiz Khalifa, and Courteney Cox. Crawford proudly observed as her daughter, Kaia Gerber, dazzled in a glittery gold dress.

Slimane’s creative vision extended to both men and womenswear, featuring striking red blazers with gold trims, high-heeled black leather boots, black suits, and jackets adorned with gold feathers. After the show, Slimane, accompanied by Gerber, briefly took the stage, acknowledging the standing ovation from the predominantly black-clad audience.

The fall/winter fashion show seamlessly transitioned into a lively party in the lobby, where attendees were treated to food and drinks. The festivities continued with electrifying live performances in the theater, featuring rock legends Iggy Pop, The Strokes, Interpol, and The Kills.
